If it wasn't for the iffy service I'd give this place a higher rating. We had a reservation but they forgot to mention we had a 2 hour time limit. 2 hours to scarfed down food. We were seated then moved around AFTER we had asked to be seated elsewhere. The gyozas were yum as well as the octopus balls. The duck tataki wasn't impressive. My vegetarian friend was quite pleased with her options. We asked if we could stick around for dessert (didn't get to try the matcha cheesecake) but the following group had already arrived. I had a yuzu ume drink which was pretty good. It's worth coming here for their happy hour specials.
