UPDATE: 9/2/16
My glass was finally fixed. The owner did work with me to get this done but I feel that if I didn't constantly push nothing would have happened. There were some circumstances in his company that appear to have been beyond his control. However, this to me is still not a good excuse for poor customer interaction.
Had the communications been better, I would have no issues changing my rating, but given this experience, it remains at 1 star.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
This is a bit of a rough review given I was initially impressed with this company. However, it has been almost a week so I think this review is warranted
Had called last Wed to setup a quote for tree services for my front trees - a 25' mesquite and 25' Palo Verde. Got a call back around 530 pm from Thomas and he was able to come out that evening to give me an estimate. We agreed on a price to trim the mesquite and take down the Palo Verde, and I was pleasantly surprised that they could do it the next morning (they'd start between 6-7 am) I was told that the owner would email me the estimate that night.
Well, no email that night. No email in the morning. I felt like I went out of my way to ensure that we had all of this in writing. Thomas did respond promptly and eventually things got sorted out and he said he'd be there by 830. That wasn't an issue as I was going to be home that day
Thomas did arrive on time and began working in the trees. It seemed a little long (over an hour) to take the first load away. Again, not too big of a deal for me except everything was pretty much halted while he was away.
Once back, they continued to finish the job but this is the start of where things went bad.
During the stump grinding process, a rock flew into my garage's window, cracking it. Thomas was very stand up in bringing this to my attention. He said he was trying to get a hold of a glass repair place and that I didn't have to pay until this was resolved. He said he'd get back to me at the end of the day with the details.
No communication that night, but I did get a text the next day (Friday) stating that a glass company would be measuring that day or Monday.
Weekend goes by and I expect to hear something on Monday. Nothing. Text and call Thomas on Tuesday. No response.
Tuesday afternoon i call the office and speak to the owner. He doesn't sound familiar with the issue I'm having and says he'll talk to Thomas and get back to me.
No communication again. This continues to today (Wed) after another call to try to contact the owner. No communication at all from either of them.
I don't expect to pay them until this gets resolved, but maybe the cost of the glass repair was more than the tree service?
In any case, although my trees were serviced, I can't recommend this place based on the poor customer attention and lack of responsibility of this company.
