I'm new to Wisconsin, and was suggested to check out this new wine bar. The drive from Madison was a nice drive, my first impression upon walking inside was the new smell- which was nice. Everything was nicely placed and new, the color pallet was a little too dark and serious though. The Wine selection was sizable, and they encourage free samples to decide what was the right drink for you. When we asked for an appetizer menu we were quickly shot down and told there wasn't a menu but that they offered a cheese plate with crackers or gluten free crackers, an assorted nut bowl or specialty chocolates but that was it for food. the cheese plate was $8 and the chocolates were $2.75 each. the cheeses were fine, nothing fancy which is a shame since we are in the land of cheeses. The chocolates were great, but they were barely a bite size for nearly $3 a pop. Overall, this new bar is a nice idea- but they could use an actual appetizer menu, who doesn't like to nibble while they drink? after all- it'll make you drink more
