I love Dr. Oblinger and his office. I have been going there for many many years. I live about 2 miles outside of Mt. Holly. I got a new job in Mooresville and felt that it would be easier to change to a dentist close to work so that I could get to work faster after an appointment. I went to the other dentist twice before going back to Oblinger. The other dentist gave me a long list of problems and even told me that I needed a surgical procedure!?!?!? I had not had any pain, any sensitivity, any problems chewing, or bleeding or anything whatsoever, and I had not had any negative visits with Oblinger up to this point, and now I was suddenly being told of all these issues? I decided to go back to Oblinger on my next routine visit for an unofficial 2nd opinion, and, GUESS WHAT?? A perfect visit. This was about 4 years ago. I still have not had a single tooth-issue to this day. That other dentist was such a scam. Oblinger runs a good, honest practice with no hidden agendas, and that is what people notice. I will never change dentists again. Honestly, I don't think I would ever trust a new dentist again.
