I'm new to Phoenix and a new acquaintance brought me here last night. The ambiance and decor were great. It's a dimly-lit bar, with a casual chill vibe. Kinda makes me think of an under-ground jazz bar. I dig places like this. If you don't like dark bars, this is probably not your spot. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. My friend ordered a drink off their cocktail menu and I ordered an Old Fashioned. Both were great! The bartender was very friendly and quick with service. All in all, a great first impression!
Verdict: HIGHLY RECOMMEND but watch out for weekends - I heard this place gets wall-to-wall packed. So if you prefer some space, maybe try to make it in during the week. We came on a Wednesday night and had a great experience.
