We have used Drop Shades since 2007 for our windows and doors approx $9k and have always sent referrals their way. Today the customer service was beyond awful. We needed patio shades re-cabled and new eye bolts put in. We had 4 shades and only 3 needed to be replaced in the end. The service engineer still charged us for 4 because his paperwork said 4, even though he did 3. When I called the office it was like explaining to a 5 year old if you only fixed 3 but your paperwork said 4, you would only charge for ?? and I wanted my over payment of $50.00 back. I ended up going into the office. If you cannot understand that you only charge the customer for the work you did, you have no business being in business. Trying to explain that to him was exhausting and to say his attitude stank was an understatement. I got my money back and he has lost any future referrals and any more business from me. I am sure that extra $50 bucks you had to give me back was worth losing clients for. A tip for Drop Shades "Don't screw your customers that generate you business". I guess you cannot fix stupid.
