It is not our first time staying at Harrah's, but I guess it's gonna be the last one. We came for my birthday weekend and to get some break from caring for my mom who is a cancer patient. I really needed that small break to relax and recharge. We booked a nice room with a pillow top mattress and a high roller view , but we've been told they have a construction going on at that part of tower and it will start at 9 am. On a question why it didn't say anything at booking time she just said I'm telling u now. We asked to move us to a different room, they did it and said they will upgrade us to a better room without charge extra. Upgrade?!? If they call it upgrades, they should pay us to stay in that room, first one they put us in was very dirty and smell like some one just smoked in it. I called to desk and only option I had that house keeping will come in and spray some air freshener and do the investigation. After guy came and sprayed it start smelling even worse , but he reported to his supervisor and we were transferred to another room which wasn't much better but at less it didn't smell. The bed was terrible specially I have back and shoulders problems and that's why originally I booked a room with pillow-top mattress. The bathroom was very old and bathtub was chipped in several places. Towels were dirty and definitely not fresh.
So my birthday weekend was spoiled and I got very disappointed.
I guess we never gonna stay at this hotel.
