Sat at the sushi bar and my sushi chef was nice as well as all the servers. Patrick has some serious customer service skills. Mixed reviews for the food: The sashimi was surprisingly soft and yummy. No fishy smells or slime and each slice was cut generously thick. Can't tell how fresh it truly was but wasn't terrible. And then there was my spicy tuna roll which was subpar. There was no flavor to the tuna and they didn't even make their sushi with sushi-rice...it was just plain, white rice! Sushi-rice is standard in every sushi roll everywhere! The ambiance is quite off with the lighting....and especially since they were playing Martha Stewart baking pastries on the tv while simultaneously blasting Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What"....so odd. I think what threw off the entire experience was that I noticed flea or bug bites on my ankles after getting home from the restaurant. Might not be from there but I can't imagine it coming from anywhere else since I just moved into a new development. And those bites were definitely not on my ankles prior to entering the restaurant.
