I have always loved this place but maybe around a year ago they replaced their long time receptionist with a new woman who is extremely rude. My mother in law was supposed to watch my kids on a Monday during my dental appointment but she got very sick over the weekend so I had to leave a message Saturday explaining I couldn't come in Monday because I would have no one to watch my children during the appointment and I was so sorry I couldn't get a hold of anyone to cancel with more notice than that. Well 7 am Monday I get a call from the receptionist who is in a huge huff that I wouldn't be able to make it. I explained to her there was no way I could come in, I was going to drive my husband to work shortly and he couldn't watch them or be late because of early meetings and my mother in law was supposed to and I couldn't show up for my appointment kids in tow. She had an extremely rude tone of voice the entire phone call and was sighing and sounding extremely put out, it was not professional at all and she ended the phone call with saying FINE, reschedule when you can figure out your schedule in an extremely disgusted tone of voice. Well I'm sorry people get sick and emergencies happen I hate to cancel last minute but I did leave a message days before there was just no one to check the messages. This happened a month or so and I still haven't called to reschedule because even though I really like Dr. Curtis I can't stand the idea of talking to that woman on the phone again and dealing with her rudeness. I wish the old receptionist still worked there she was always courteous and professional on the phone and in person. I'm actually rethinking going to this dentist again even though I have been going to the same dentist for almost 10 years.
