I bought my husband a Living Social discount voucher for a 5 minute Nascar racing experience at California Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. He had an amazing time! They were very professional and organized, focused on both safety and fun.
The day started with him checking in and getting a driving suit to wear for the day. Then there was a 40 minute classroom session with a video and live instructor telling him what to expect when on the track. Family/friends are invited to join the classroom session (which was good because I think I was more nervous than he was!).
Then we went down to the track where there was a short wait. Then he got a helmet, put in his ear buds to hear the instructor while driving, and off he went! Vroom! vroom! 152 MPH!
When he was done, he was all smiles and had a great time! I would definitely recommend this as a gift for the adrenaline junkie or Nascar fan in your life.
