This is a nice park that I've been going to since I was a kid. Now, I take my kids to this park for walks, fishing, and tennis lessons. When I was a kid, it was called, "State Road Park" and it had a swimming pool. Well, that pool has closed and the park has been renamed. Also, there used to be excellent dirt mounds that we used to jump on our bikes. These have since been bull dozed and grass was planted in their place. In fact, a portion of the parking lot was returned to grass and a cell phone tower was erected. Parma added five new tennis courts recently. My kids take tennis lessons here in the summer and I walk around the lake and the paved walking trail. This park has a large playground, putt-putt, baseball fields, lake, two sand volleyball courts, 10 tennis courts, a batting cage, restrooms, snack bar, exercise course, disc golf course, and a pavilion. Every July, Parma hosts movies in the park. I'll keep coming to this park until I move out of Parma.
