Wonderful location and attractive hotel. Management needs a refresher course or to provide one for staff. Needed a hotel for out of town family and friends to stay at for a wedding 2 miles away. They would not provide a block of rooms Or a wedding party rate. Rate quoted was higher then booking online!!' Requested lower floor for 96 year family member next to ours. Checked on the request the day before after the rehearsal dinner and was told that would be fine and that they would try to allow an early check in. Elderly family was able to check in 20 minutes early and the room could not have been any better. Our room was not available- several rooms down the hallway- until 45 minutes AFTER official check in time. The bathroom walls were dirty, no bathroom mat but plenty of towels.
