Gallery advertised free appraisals. Took in 4 different types of original artwork for an appraisal for my own knowledge; I was not looking to sell them. They took photos, said they would research my pieces and call me back with appraisal value. Instead, they emailed me and said they could not use my pieces as they did not have a collector base for them. ??? This was a total waste of my time. Why advertise a free appraisal if they never intended to provide one. Not a good way to drum up positive press for their gallery....
