It just feels wrong saying I've had a pleasant experience at the DMV, but it's true :)
As soon as you get there, stand in the info line to get your name/number on the waiting list. The people working that line are stern, but great at preparing you to not have you wait for nothing.
I'm sure it's been around for a good minute, but I appreciate the texting service they have going on. Even if your number hasn't been called and it's closing time (5pm) make sure you're back in the building since they are excellent at not letting you back in...they have a security guy just for that.
While you're waiting, go outside to get some food, haven't tried the snack bar area there but I'm sure it's overpriced and mainly junk foods: popcorn, hot dog, chips, etc.
Never love visiting this place, but it's nice knowing it can be done efficiently.
