I rarely go in a Pep Boys and after my last visit I now know why. I went in this one only because I happend to be in the area. I walk in and the store, as large as it is, only has about 2-3 customers including my self. I roam the store and never run into an employee. Then I found out why. They are all at the parts counter BS'n. As I walk past, no one stops their conversation to ask if they can help me. I end up on the audio aisle as am looking for some stereo equipment for my car. Two employees then walk down the aisle past me, again never asking I they could help me. I find a set of speaker boxes I knew were cheaper than any where else and take them the the cashier. Finally! A friendly person who speaks to me and thanks me for my purchase. I was in the store about 20 minutes and the cashier was the only person who spoke to me the entire time. If I'm in the area, I might stop in another Pep Boys, but I would never make a special trip, or drive out of my way to get to one.
