An awesome, trippy experience that's completely safe, comfortable, fun AND legal! The Dome at Container Park is a relatively new place to hang out in Downtown Las Vegas. The shows mostly revolve around space and music. When I was there, there was an option for U2, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I only had enough time to watch the first two and I'm so glad I did! Once inside the air conditioned planetarium, all the lights are turned off and you can relax in a reclining leather seat so you're not straining any part of your body as you face the dome directly above you. When the show starts, you'll see a series of laser light kaleidoscopes expanding, contracting, and exploding to the beat of the music. The music is just loud enough to appreciate the rock 'n' roll vibes, but the atmosphere is soothing enough that you can close your eyes and sleep. I would definitely go back and bring music fans with me to this totally cool venue. There are food and gift shops at the container park and clean bathrooms.
