Today was my first time to Jamerica. Admittedly, I don't have a ton of experience with Caribbean food. This is mostly in part, because when I read menu items like 'Jerk Chicken' or 'Jambalaya' on a menu, I think of some dried up version of what should have been. This place is the greatest. The Jambalaya was not only not dry, but it was very moist and very flavorful, with the perfect amount of heat. The level of heat was significant-possibly too much for some folks. My nose was starting to run, let me put it that way=perfect. I also enjoyed the Mango Rundown Shrimp. Delicious flavor and I appreciate them not overcooking the shrimp. I got to try my friend's Curried Goat. The dish, once again, had excellent flavor and the meat melted in my mouth. I would order any one of these dishes again. I can't wait to go back.
