I came in for a certain reason and the doctor just didn't listen to me. It's like it went in one ear and out the other. I was genuinely worried and nobody was taking me seriously. Well not everyone. The medical assistant was sweet and actually understood my concerns. He kept saying how he can't help me but he wasn't even listening to what I was needing help with! So he runs a urine test and I can hear them talking about my results very clearly from my closed room. But here's what upset me. I heard him say "did we get the results for the little girl?" I'm 23. I'm not a little girl. Just made me feel belittled. The way he talked to me it made me feel like I was wasting his time and I was there for no reason. He asked me why I wasn't going to a specialist. Well because I wanted to be seen right away. I was worried. Anyways, I won't be coming back here. I left feeling embarrassed, silly, and like I wasted everyone's time. I could of bought dinner with the $50 I wasted.
