I had been following Michael Patrick's work for quite some time prior to meeting him at a tattoo convention on Long Island (where I live). I sat for an amazingly unique original piece of art done by Michael Patrick and I couldn't be happier. He did an outstanding job on the tattoo and delivered superb clean line work, great color saturation, and spot on composition. I walked away from that convention with so much pride, having just got my "Zombie Donut" done and it being so damn perfect. The best part of the tattoo was that I felt like I had made a friend for life. Michael Patrick was so welcoming and warm to be around and talk to that I felt comfortable the entire time. After the convention, I managed to stay in touch with him through social media and remained in regular communication. This is what makes him so special. He connects with his customers and doesn't label them a folder or a number. He truly has a gift and this is more important than the art he creates. You know you will be getting a tattoo done with so much care and precision when it comes to the craft. He will also care how well it is applied and put love into each line that goes into it. I have so much respect for him and his art that I planned an entire trip around visiting his parlor in Pittsburgh. Once again, he delivered. I got a one of a kind hand drawn owl portrait done to represent my son. It is so perfect. I can't wait to get more and more tattoos done by him. I have a whole leg planned and the skin is his.
