If you have never heard of or done this you are missing out on some fun. We go here for team building events occasionally where I work and every single time we end up having a blast. It's a mix of lacrosse, basketball, and bumper cars...people get very competitive and it is fun to see your co-workers true competitive colors shine through.
They have a bar there with dozens of different beers and make it really easy to have catered food brought in. They don't actually make food there, but they make it really easy to work with surrounding businesses and can provide things like wings, pizza, salad, meat and cheese platters and the like.
The cost is fairly reasonable and the guys that work there can be real comedians so they are good to work with. Overall, if you are looking for some team building activities, you can't do much better than Whirly Ball - loads and loads of fun.
