We are snowbirds and my wife developed an infection and found the clinic more or less by chance. Dr. Amir Shalev removed the portion of her ingrown toenail that had become infected. After a week I saw she was getting along quite well and as luck would have it I coincidentally developed pain from an ingrown toenail that had been giving me fits off and on for a couple of decades. I didn't come to Las Vegas for foot care, but these serendipitous occurrences created a golden opportunity for me to make something right that I had been fussing about for much too long. I made an appointment with Dr. Shalev and he removed the margins of my right big toenail which had been cutting into the meat. The whole operation took about a half hour and I didn't experience any pain after the anesthetic wore off. The procedure did not affect my mobility at all. After a couple of weeks, everything was healing up fine, I am very happy with the work that Dr. Shalev did and glad to be rid of the offending parts of the nail.
