My boyfriend and I were visiting Montreal for a long weekend and had gotten a recommendation to try this place. When we first got there on a Sunday around noon, the line was way out the door which we took as a good sign but also not sure we wanted to wait that long. However, after peaking in the window and seeing the food, as well as taking a look at a menu, we decided to wait it out. It took about 45 minutes to be seated but it was well worth the wait!!! The server was perfectly lovely and took extra care to make a cappuccino just the way I like it (so much so that I ordered a second one). Then the food was simply spectacular, possibly the best brunch I've ever had. I got the "oeuf poché campêtre" which was their take of an eggs Benedict (with pesto and mushrooms) and it was amazing! My boyfriend got "le du passé composé" which was a perfect variety of breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, beans, fruit, ham) with a choice of toast or french toast. I'm not sure exactly how they made this French toast but it was definitely the best French toast I've ever had. It had a crispy outside with I think flaked coconut and a soft, warm inside without being too sweet. Next time we come to Montreal, we'll happily wait in line and eat here again!
