I always order 2 doz red roses in a fancy arrangement and vase for my wife for her birthday and another for Valentine's Day. I ordered the roses the week before last, to make sure he did not run out of red roses for me, and reminded him that I want only fresh roses, not something that will be pointing down in a day or two. They just delivered the arrangement to my wife's office this morning, according to my instructions, but my wife called to say that the outer petals of the roses were turning brown already! I called Kevin, the owner, immediately, and was told that those were only "guard petals" and that if we were to remove them, the roses would die sooner! If I did not care what it looked like, just to have the roses last longer, I wouldn't bother to send any flowers at all. The appearance is everything. How can I go back to this florist again? Too bad, because they are close to where I live.
