The good: the biscuits and doughnuts are fresh, made to order so they're not sitting out. I had a sausage biscuit, it was just ok. The doughnuts were amazing. I had an apple fritter that just came out of the fryer so it was warm and chewy. I ordered a glazed doughnut as well on the way out that was pretty good as well. The service is fast. The line was at the door when I went in but I was able to place my order and get my food within 7mins. You can watch the biscuits and doughnuts being made through an observation window which I thought was cool feature. The price point was reasonable for the area.
The not so good: the place is small. I expected inside seating at a table but there was none. There's a long butcher block bar that has space for 6-8 ppl in the back the only downside to that is the location. It's literally right next to the bathrooms. I was able to get a seat but didn't like hearing the toilet flush and the occasional smells as people exited. There are also tables outside but it was a little too chilly on a December morning to sit outside. Limited coffee selection, regular or decaf only.
This was my first visit but will definitely return to try different menu items since its close to my house and less chaotic than Duck Doughnuts for example.
