A group of people who own valley Bar, Crescent Ballroom, The Van Buren, and Cobra Bar are attempting to create elite downtown venues where door people can arbitrarily choose if you can or can not enter based on either your wealth, social status, or being hipster trash. These venues attempt to bring in solid artists, but end up making it a lame because they have zero idea how to throw a quality event, but are excellent at overcharging, several times over, for what their events are actually worth.
