I have been here twice and both times I expected a little more, but they were both "just kind of okay". There is not a huge selection for breakfast. My friend had a cherry scone and I had a ham and cheese croissant. While they weren't "bad", by any means, they were just average. We stayed there to eat. No one offered to heat our selections up for us. Maybe that would have made them both better? The time before that I had a baked piece of dough- I forget what was on it- spinach and feta maybe? Not memorable. Just okay. The ambiance is pretty plain. The seating isn't uncomfortable, but I wouldn't call it "warm and cozy", either. The selection is fine, but nothing extraordinary. The breads always look so good, so in all fairness, maybe I need to try more here. I wish I had more to say, but my feelings about Blackbird are just really neutral. Good, not bad. Tasty, but not delicious. I am not sure if I'll be back or not. For now, though I am leaning towards bye-bye, Blackbird.
