I had the unfortunate pleasure of picking a new Dr. due to having complications after having neck surgery because my Dr. had no appointments for 2 weeks. I picked the Dr. based on who had the earliest appointment , I called Thursday in the early am and was not able to see anyone until Tuesday being that it was emergency that was the earliest I could get in! So I'm in excruciating pain for 4 days and got put with a DR. that was worse than any human that I have encountered! I have shingles so after she came in to the room with ZERO compassion, telling me " there is nothing she can give me since I already had the shingles. I left still in the same pain I came with, as the days past the pain was worsening! I went to the ER (ST.ROSE Delima)
on Friday, as they were extremely busy they took back immediately due to the fact shingle's are extremely contagious, the Dr. came in so gentle and kind listened to my problems and instantly name off 4 prescriptions that she was going to give and why. She was baffled when I told her about Lauren Maxham M.D. that gave me nothing and sent me home. I would tell anyone looking for Dr. beware of the negligent care!! If she would have helped me I would not be in the position I am in now! My shingle's had five more to spread coupled with severe pain it is now day 11 and still am in pain, IF I WOULDVE BEEN GIVEN THE PROPER MEDICATION I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CATCH THIS VIRUS FROM SPREADING AT AN EARLY STAGE AND WOULD NOT BE WHERE I AM NOW. SAY NO IF THEY TELL SHE TAKING NEW PATIENTS!!
