For it's sound, sight-lines and downright class, the Jack Singer Concert Hall is one of my favourite concert venues in Calgary.
If you're looking for a venue to sit and listen to some music or watch an incredible performance, the Jack singer is it! If you want to dance, get your mosh pit on, mingle... This is not the concert hall you are looking for.
The Jack Singer delivers on performances across the board - I've been here for plenty of Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra shows, every december for A Christmas Carol and seen plenty of classic rockers from Don Felder to Tom Cochrane to Streetheart light up the stage.
If you're prone to vertigo, stay away from the top seats. Seriously! Several balconies up, it get real steep real fast and it's enough to make even the most stable of ears a little dizzy.
