I love to travel but love coming home to the 'burgh; especially in the summertime. Driving through the Fort Pitt tunnels on the way back from the airport and seeing the view is breathtaking.
Seeing the fountain at full blast with the sun shining is so welcoming.
I remember being a child and art school student spending many days lounging and splashing about the fountain.
Even today it's great fun to sit on the ledge and dip my feet in the water as the geyser rushes above.
