Single worst transit system in N. America. Hands down! I've been on transit from Sam Fran. to L.A. to N.Y. to Van. city to Halifax and back. CT is the worst system in planning and execution I have seen. As soon as the weather turns I expect to see the amount of passengers go up and I also expect busses to run a bit late...thats understood. The problem is more in the fact that if I can anticipate these things, why cant they?? 4 of my busses passed me by before I could fit on the 5th. Thats about 1 hour standing outdoors in -30. Really? Calgary is a driving city...if we ever want to see a signifigant change for the better ie. more transit / bike/ pedestrian traffic, It needs to appeal to people. Right now Calgary Transit can eat a D*** for raising my bus pass price every year without providing me better service.
