Get crafty while you get your coffee fix. LaPostté is a new adorable café with a unique twist where patrons can choose from a selection of postcards for sale and also enjoy a drink. Menu choices include all kinds of teas (black, green, oolong, jasmine), milk teas, tea lattes, fruit teas, coffee (latte, Americano, espresso), and toppings (sea salt cream, matcha cream). The postcard wall is fun and I spent a good amount of time browsing the selection. The cost is $2 per card with stamps for sale at .50 each: I know postcard postage isn't that steep but, unless you have your own postcard stamps with you, you're paying for the convenience of mailing it from the café. You can choose which day you want your postcards to go out, too, either now or on a future date; there's another wall with dated post office boxes if you want the staff to send your card on an upcoming date. Also, there's a selection of stamps and pens for customers to use to enhance their postcards. For my drink, I got the taro milk tea which was very good, served in a tall plastic reusable cup. Service was great and I would like to come back with friends to try their high tea service, complete with pastries.
