Highly disappointing . Took the day off work to go as a family. Your ticket prices are absolutely ridiculous. You say nothing on your site that everything is cash only. How many people carry cash anymore??? Paying separately for each ride, you need a wristband or something. They are littered thru the park so there was no way to avoid any of them from my 6 year old. Almost no shade spots from trees as we were walking the huge park except the food buildings.
The lack of "refreshment" stands in between was surprising, especially in AZ. There quite a distance between food buildings in order to get water. The one we finally went in was gross and unclean. Witnessed an employee on her phone while there was food on the dining room floor and tables not wiped down. We were 1 of 2 other groups in the building, it was not busy. Also the bathroom attached on the outside was unclean and unkempt. I wouldn't have used it if i didn't have to.
Your supposed Giraffe feeding is a complete joke. I have fed giraffes before in a park and could actually reach the giraffe (and with a leaf mind you, not stupid pellets). People couldn't reach the giraffe especially kids. Dangerous as well since people really wanted to feed it so leaned over the rail more than they should have. Only way to feed was to throw pellets at the poor giraffe and most the time it caught very little if any at all and fell thru the grating. What a waste and you disappointed my son.
The aquarium wasn't bad but expected it to be much more than what it was considering the ticket prices just for that after the park closes. Taking our time it maybe took an hour to get thru it all.
Very disappointed in our visit in your zoo yesterday.
