We recently did a staycation here at the Villas and LOVED it. We had a hard time narrowing down which hotel to say at and we are so glad that we chose the Westin.
The rooms in the Villas and hotel in general were CLEAN. So clean. As a parent with two small kids who touch everything, this put my mind at ease. The rooms were great. As a family of four, the room that we stayed in had a bedroom and a living area. So everyone was able to sleep comfortably without disturbing each other. There was a small kitchen area and a washer and dryer. Really a dream for a family with small kids.
The pool area at the villas were great. The staff are incredibly kind. During our visit, we didn't find it necessary to rent a cabana. The waterslide, splash pad, and pool at the villas were enough for our crew. We did venture over to the main hotel one of the afternoons we were there. The pool area was very nice, along with the waverider, lazy river, and an additional slide. But we decided we were content where we were back at the Villas.
The food at the hotel was also very good. Really appreciated that there were many healthy options to choose from.
If you are looking for a great family friendly spot in the Scottsdale area, you need to consider the Westin Kierland Villas. And for anyone local considering a staycation, it doesn't feel like you are "at home" if you do decide to stay here. It was a wonderful break for us. :)
