As for its location, its great. Just off Dundas Sq by the TV studio you are located within walking distance of all main amenities of downtown and somewhat beyond. The Eaton shopping centre, tim hortons, starbucks, mcds, cineam, subway, tram network, st mikes hospital, a 10 min walk to the gay village and probably just under a 30 min stroll to the CN Tower.
Although not inviting from the outside, The inside lobby area is modern as was my room. With very accurate and modern climate control (essential mid-winter and mid-summer), wooden floor, modern bathroom and a good LCD TV even if it did have a poor selection of channels.
The room was cleaned every day and bed linen changed too. Towels were a little small but did the job!
If the price is right then you won't be disappointed with this place, but its not exactly worth a high end boutique hotel price. As for rating its worth a 3 1/2 stars, but not quite 4. Another reason is that I was here for 10 nights on business and wifi was NOT included, so had to be purchased. In this day and age, wifi should be included as a basic commodity, hence I only stay in hotels myself that offer this when I am paying the bill.
