The 3 stars is based on my pedicure. My friend brought me and my daughter for a girls day shopping and pedicure. She likes this place so that is why we came, and there is a Kohl's across the street.
We got here a little after opening and luckily didn't have to wait to get a chair. While picking our colors I noticed that they don't have a ton of nail polish colors to choose from. They have a lot but not as much as most places. I think I might even have more at home.
The place is cute and the people seem friendly when you walk in, but if you are staring at your water because you see something floating, then their mood changes. They use bags to cover the basins as a ploy to not really have to scrub the tubs and I saw a floaty and my lady Tina was trying to argue about it and finally saw it after they stopped the jets. It was just a fruit fly, but still, it could have been something else and I wanted to know.
The guy my friend had and Tina used timers that I saw them looking at during our pedicures. He gave my friend what looked like a great foot massage while my lady kinda just rubbed my calves and pulled my toes. Tina wasn't very nice and her massage wasn't worth a pedicure. The polish itself was okay. My toes look the same when I do them at home. Little spots of missing polish and some bumps where there was too much polish and just a little on the skin itself. If you come here, don't go to Tina, she rushes and is not very nice. You can tell that she was talking badly about me to the guy.
HOWEVER, Carla did my daughter's pedicure and she was great. She was super nice, super detailed, and did a great job on her toes. If the review had been on her, it would've been more 4.5-5 stars. And talking to her actually bumped this to 3 stars instead of 2.
