Prosciutto sandwich was delicious, on a homemade baguette (baked in house) that we liked so much we bought some for home. They were very accommodating and warmed up the sandwich for us. Butter tart (no raisins!) and hazelnut chocolate shortbread cookie were also very good, and not too sweet. The buttercream vanilla cake with lemon was delicious - high quality buttercream, many layers (a lot of work!), with a hint of lemon, not too sweet. They don't sell individual slices of cake - the small cake is probably the equivalent of about 2 very large slices. Excellent service. The owners were on hand. They are friendly and really hustled to attend to all their customers quickly. Cute, clean space with parking out front but limited seating - two small tables and one long shared table. We came at an off peak time on a Saturday and observed that they get an endless stream of customers. Agreed with another reviewer that Eglinton is a big mess, traffic wise, as I live in the area but on the weekend it was fine. Home Depot, Winners, Sobeys, Marshalls within walking distance so you can run your errands too. A big pricier than the coffee shops but you can tell from the taste of their items that they use high quality ingredients.
