My husband and I recently had an issue with a Britax stroller system losing its braking mechanism after only a couple of months. We tried calling Britax about a replacement but were told that we would need to just shell out another $400 for a replacement system. Needless to say, we were highly annoyed with the Britax customer service team.
Fortunately, on the upside, we had purchased our system from Buy Buy Baby who has an amazing manager working for them. Haven, a manager at this location, spoke with us on the phone about our situation prior to us making the trek to the store with our useless stroller. Moving around with a newborn is never easy, so setting up an exchange over the phone with Haven turned out to be an ideal situation.
When we arrived at the store, Haven greeted us with a pleasant smile and a can-do attitude. He went above and beyond to make sure we were able to exchange our stroller (with proper receipts of course) and even upgrade to the 2014 version. He even put the new stroller system together for us, helped my husband put the car seat in the car and did all of this with a smile.
Haven is the reason we will continue to shop at Buy Buy Baby. The prices might be a bit higher than say Target, but getting this kind of customer service with hassle free returns is well worth paying a little extra for a onesie.
