I updated my membership payment information in November 2017. Dec 2017 and Jan 2018, a financial company contracted by Fitness Connection withdrew membership fees from my checking account. The first week in Jan, I visited the gym, and I was told by employee that my membership card was not active or assigned to an account. I spoke to the operations manager, Kelly. She allowed me use the gym until the matter was resolved. Later in the week I called customer service. The customer service representative informed me that my account was canceled. I spoke to the general manager. He looked into my account. After further research the general manager found out that my credit was applied to the wrong account. As result of the era by Fitness Connection, my account was pass in due status. The general manager said, if I opted to enroll and active a new membership, my month payment will increase by 2.00. Prior Fitness Connection's era, my monthly payment was 19.95. Basically I am being penalize for Fitness Connection's era.
