The monthly rate continued to soar, so we switched to Cox after being a 10 year customer,an excellent customer. Before we switched, we asked the representative if they could do anything, give us a break in the price, anything. They said there was nothing they could do. As we were getting cox installed, Dish called and wanted to keep us as a customer, they'd lower the price, give us free channels anything to keep us. I took the phone from my wife and told them forget it and handed the phone back to my wife. The representative told my wife to hold on to the equipment for a week and if we didn't like cox, we could change back. Well, 2 weeks later my wife received an email stating we were being charged $99 for not canceling the service. These bastards are sneaky SOB's...they asked my wife a question and since she said yes, they figure that was part of our contract. The representative never told my wife we'd be charged. Does Dish actually think people would pay for 2 services? They must really be hard up for money to attempt to manipulate a good customer for the last 10 years. I will never have Dish as a provider again, even if the were the last provider on earth. I'd get a HD antenna and Netflix first. Beware of the sneaky, stab a good customers in the back Dish...
