This just in: A dentist who doesn't deserve even one star. After being referred by my insurance to Swanson and Glyman I had xrays done on a Sunday not at the Flamingo location. Was impressed by this. The other location got me an early appt. and again was impressed. That's where it stopped. The office staff has a couple of good people. But a few can't get information right to save their lives. I thought I was going for a wisdom tooth extraction. Turned out to be a consult. Was informed it would be easy and I would be asleep. Had to reschedule surgery due to a family emergancy. Had the surgery 10/9/2014 and was told everything went well. No mention of complications or damage. Until I found the chip in the front side of the next tooth. Then a week ago the back half of the tooth fell off. I had a resin filling in this tooth and that was damaged. When I went to see Glyman a week ago he blamed it on a cavity. Yet there was no mention of a cavity at xray, consult, pre surgery xray, post surgery care. Common sense says if the tooth was fine before the surgery and after its chipped, broken, discolored, and sensitive then a cavity is not to blame. Just like other grievences posted here, when asked for an explanation all I recieved was denial, blame, and contention. Yet he did tell me to send him the bill for the tooth. My dentist called Glyman today and he lied about informing me of a cavity and decay and refused to pay for it. Stating only that he would give me a free extraction. I now have an open and broken tooth that will eventually become infected. It's going to take $ 1,509.00 to put a crown on because the back of the tooth broke off at the gumline. He thinks I'm stupid and will cave but he's wrong. I have xrays that can't be altered showing no cavity or decay of this tooth. Besides that a resin filling is not going to break from a cavity and niether is the front of the tooth where there is no cavity. It's been a month of jaw and nerve pain and swelling. Now this. You are not a professional Glyman. What you've done is illegal. DO NOT trust this man.
