This is our hangout and go to restaurant and has to be my first 5 star review, considering the number of times I have visited.
I first went to this restaurant in 2014 and there's no stopping since then. The place is very hipster, dark and packed. It definitely seems like a Sherlock holmes, batman night out.
There are days when I crave for their Mushroom soup. Its one of the best soup i have had. They have creamy, walnut filled mushroom soup, served with house made bread and heaps of butter. You will never get tired of their bread. Cream of tomato with croutons is good too. We generally order Tandoori wings for our appetizer, which is cooked to perfection, not spicy and served with celery and ranch. When it comes to pasty, they are the boss. Their Lamb vidaloo, Chicken tikka masala brings out the complete flavor in a pasty form. The filling is delicious and their pasty, so soft made of complete butter just melts in the mouth, baked till crisp golden from the outside . One can eat just the plain pasty and crave for more. Spicy Asiago chicken and chicken pot pie are our next options. Please save room for desert, each ones unique but Apple caramel pasty you will not be disappointed.
They have a wide range of options and this place is definitely heaven for vegans too. The service is really good and you will find a lot of young hip crowd. The price is definitely reasonable and a great place to hangout with groups. I will keep visiting this place.
