The best experience I've ever had with a mechanic shop. My check engine light had been on for a while and I tried the normal things like gas cap and oil changed. Even took it to a different shop earlier in the week for them to scan it. Didn't have time to leave it and I told them I would be back but could tell they were annoyed so I wasn't going to bring it back there.
When I called to set appointment at Bell Road Automotive, which I found on yelp. Randy was super nice. When I took it into the shop, Randy again, was super nice and understanding. I appreciated the fact that he knows car troubles suck and are an expense that no one wants. They took my car in and the sweet lady gave my daughter and I a ride home. (With the car seat). My house was a little farther than I thought but she did not complain.
When I got a call a few hours later, Randy went over the outcome. He said " we have to try this first and cross your fingers that hopefully it works". If not, it could get very expensive. I agreed. A couple hours after that he called and said good news, it worked! Your car is ready. The best part about that is that he sounded so excited on the phone that it worked and I wasn't going to have to pay for anything else. I really appreciated that!!
The lady came all the way back to our house to pick us up to take us back to the shop. When we got there Randy gave me the bill. Are you serious? It was less than he quoted me over the phone just a few hours earlier!!
I usually feel screwed after leaving a mechanic. Not here though, I will definitely be back and have already recommended family members. Kudos to an honest run business!
