I love BBQ and like many others, struggled to find decent meats. I'm from the Midwest and let's be honest, they know how to do BBQ. I'd heard about this place and was intrigued but not enough to wait in line. So, we ordered ahead and took home 5lbs if absolute deliciousness. All of the meats were fall off the bone tender with a subtly smokiness that didn't detract from the flavor. We tried the chopped brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, sausage and beef ribs. The grits are awesome and our favorite side. We had so much extra meat that we were worried it wouldn't heat up but still just as good the next day. Needless to say, we do the order ahead every month and a half and just have a meat filled weekend. The staff is fantastic and it lives up the hype. Yes, the line is long but there are ways around it and once you try it, 5 lbs might not be enough. Finally, make sure you go on the weekend and get the beef ribs, hands down some of the best ribs I have ever had.
