Overall, Wells Fargo is a decent bank. This location is absolutely horrific. I deposited a large check yesterday and was informed that there would be 3 separate holds placed due to the large amount. According to the receipt I received, $200 would be available after overnight processing. The next amount would be credited after 2 business days, and the remainder after 7. This morning, I checked my account and somehow they managed to make my account close to 15k negative! I called customer service immediately and was informed they could do nothing and the branch was solely responsible. Here I sit, waiting for them to solve this mystery, and still I will have to wait to receive my money. Banks hold large amounts in the federal reserve for the interest they accrue. It only takes 24 hours for a local check to be transferred to the appropriate institution. While there have been regulations enforced to limit the hold time, this is ridiculous. Long story short, unless making a quick stop to use the ATM, avoid this branch altogether.
