Last Sunday, March 12, our group of six took the 4:00pm "Ancient Ruins Tour." I have to share with you how unhappy our tour was. Eight of us rode in our jeep (not including the driver). I rode the middle bench seat and I felt very uncomfortable and crammed. I was not able turn to look at the scenery behind me because the space was so tight. I never saw the beautiful rocks because I was only able to look forward toward the grassland until we reached the ruins. My wife sat next to me, third person on the side bench seat. She is short (4'11") so she couldn't see over me and my friend sitting in front of her on the bench seat.
I don't know how they decide on what size determines a group, but I did not notice any other jeep tour group going out that day with eight passengers. If only we had one less passenger in our jeep, we wouldn't have felt so crammed. I felt like I was sitting on an airplane, in economy and in the middle row!!!!!!
Our guide PJ was below adequate at best. He would tell stories and was joking around but when I made one comment that the group thought was funny, he responded "well this is your tour so if you want to lead it go ahead." I never said another word the rest of the tour. He really insulted me in front of all my friends and the two others that joined our "Ancient Ruins Tour."
