My appointment was just cancelled by them for a second time because the dentist would not be in. The first appointment I showed up for they had neither a dentist nor a hygienist in the office.
I imagine the dentists and hygenists are competent, if they actually follow through with an appointment. The dentists rotate through with regularity. This is a corporate run dentist office the Dentists don't seem to have ownership and investment in the office or the patients. If a private office was run this way, they would be out of business.
