Turkey legs, sausage, scotch eggs and beer! Oh my! I've come to this nearly every year and it's never a let down. This year I had the oppurtunity to go with my love and my older kids so they were more interested in just wandering around with their friends than hanging out with the old folks! I was perfectly ok with that because that gave me and my girlfriend more time to do what we do best......people watch. Oh boy is there some good people watching here. It's really hard to tell who is there as an actor and who's just dressing up for fun. Either way it's great. They have some pretty funny show and of course the jousting is really fun and pretty much the main event.
Also, if you are into medevial things, save your money up and come out to support local artisans here. There is something for everyone at this event!
