I can't really say for sure how we ended up at The Wiggle Room during our long-weekend stay in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal... but I can say I'm sure glad we did! The venue takes on the traditional "speakeasy" atmosphere -- a dimly lit yet cozy space featuring prohibition era furniture and decor. At the bar you'll find high quality liquors, fresh fruits and ingredients, staff wearing white on black with suspenders, etc.
What stood out to me most about this place was their cocktail menu and the service from the awesome girl working the bar -- had a unique first name that I'm blanking on now but she was tall with short blonde hair -- she was attentive, friendly and engaging and worked up a real delicious old fashioned for me... one of the best I've ever had.
I've never been to a Burlesque show before... stuff like this doesn't really interest me much but the acts were classy and tasteful. Overall it was very entertaining, the hostess was hilarious and the performers were talented.
Highly recommend visiting this place for a drink or two at the very least.
