We came here after dinner, so we only ordered one dessert. We got the Maiko Special with matcha ice cream since it was one of their top 5 dishes.
It was weird.
The ice cream has a very strong, intense matcha flavor that borders almost bitter. So if you're not into that intense tea flavor, I would suggest mixing it with vanilla to tamp down the flavor. My boyfriend and I thought it was ok.
The weird part of the dessert was really that it felt like a kitchen sink of everything. Mochi, jelly, cornflakes, red bean (I think???). There was way too much stuff for the size of the cup.
Service was ok. Food came out pretty fast. It was kind of expensive for what it was. Ehhh, not a place I think I'll crave. Maybe get something else? Would not recommend the special.
