After doing a lot of research and having conversations with many different media design firms in the Phoenix area, I grew frustrated because the firms seemed to fall into two buckets: (1) firms that were super expensive, probably talented and not willing to work with a small business on a budget; or (2) firms that were reasonably priced but outsourced the actual design, so you would not be dealing with actual design professionals and would get a cookie cutter product. I'm not super sophisticated with this stuff, and it was my first major media design endeavor. Then I came across Splinter.
I selected Splinter to help design my new company's website, corporate email accounts, email signature block, letterhead, business cards and other marketing materials. I'm very glad I did. Here's why:
- I get to work directly with Brandon and Pete, who are the creative principals at Splinter. They answer the phone, have a lot of experience, are talented designers and are easy to work with.
- Brandon and Pete were able to design a great website and provide a lot of creative direction on a budget and in phases that worked for my new company. The end product is awesome: fully custom, looks clean and sharp, and drives a lot of business.
- Brandon and Pete have gone above and beyond to help solve issues related to website and email snafus, often on a rush. They are really willing to help out with anything you need.
- Splinter, Brandon and Pete just "get it". They provide great design, great customer service and are in tune with all of the effective media design trends.
Needless to say, my company has found a media design partner that I trust and will continue to use for all of my media design needs. All on a reasonable budget. I highly recommend these guys.
